Bio

Arriving in Vancouver from Halifax in the late 80's I was fortunate to land a design job with Douglas and McIntyre publishers. D&M exposed me to Vancouver's diverse community of artists, writers, historians and community builders. Designing books for them was an immersion in Vancouver's contemporary culture.

I became a design consultant in the early 90s and was able to broaden my design scope by working with a larger variety of clients. I have partnered with Canadian publishers, art galleries, artists, furniture makers, film makers, First Nation educators and historians, musicians, the CBC and the NFB.

In addition to the work I do in the design field I also find satisfaction in teaching graphic design in various educational institutions within Vancouver.
