To capture the nature of Evan’s work within a book format (Jeff Wall describes it as “iridescence, emulsification and condensation – of fibre, root, oil and luminance”) the client and I quickly determined that the best approach would be a light, modern and playful typographic touch within a highly structured design construct.
Many colourful design elements were added to highlight and complement the variety found in the work itself.
